One of the advantages of participating in a full-feature dating service is the ability to maintain your privacy, and reveal your identity to a prospective dating parter only at the time of your choosing. For this reason, we do not provide any direct links between member networking profiles and member dating profiles at the Atlasphere.

In some cases, however, it may still be possible to connect a member's two profiles on the basis of geographic information. As such, for any members of the dating service who are especially concerned about privacy, we provide the option of suppressing your networking profile, should you choose to do so.

If you select the option to "Suppress my profile in the networking directory" (on the first page of your "edit dating profile" section), then your networking profile will be retained in our database, but its listing will be withheld from the directory for as long as you maintain an active profile in the dating service. You can un-select this option at any time, in which case your networking profile will become visible again to other members.

There are advantages to being listed in the networking directory — including the ability to network for personal and professional purposes — that do not come with being listed in the dating service alone, and so we recommend that you keep this box un-checked unless you are particularly concerned about your privacy in the dating service.
